history, they're making history. Job Description / SOW: Northrop
Grumman’s Defense Systems, Advanced Weapons in Northridge, CA is
currently seeking an Assembler 2 to join our team supporting our
AARGM ER and SiAW programs. This position is on-site only.
Relocation is not available for this role. Must be available to
work 2nd shift. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys
working in a team environment, can perform tasks under a stereo
zoom microscope, fine pitch soldering of circuit card assemblies,
and intricate wire harnesses. The qualified candidate needs to be
able to work from diagrams, drawings, and work instructions to meet
customer requirements. Makes continuity checks on work in process
and completed work. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble.
The chosen candidate will need to successfully complete in-house
workmanship criteria training classes for continued employment.
Basic Qualifications Assembler 2 • High School diploma or GED with
2 years of assembly or electronic experience • Ability to perform
tasks from written directions and drawings. • Demonstrated high
level of attention to detail and quality. • Ability to flex between
job responsibilities based on business demand. • Ability to perform
manufacturing / assembly tasks, at a high level, in a metric-based
work environment. • Ability to move objects weighing up to 10
pounds from one location to another and wear basic PPE. • Basic
computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel,
and Outlook. • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Preferred
Qualifications: • Active DOD clearance • Associate degree in an
electronic or technical discipline • IPC-J-STD-001 certified •
IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 Certified Primary Level Salary Range:
$43,400.00 - $72,300.00 The above salary range represents a general
guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors
when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
(PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. The application period
