currently seeking a Systems Integration Manager to join their team
in El Segundo, CA.--The position will be focused on managing the
system integration capability in support of space system
development activities.Position Responsibilities:
- Leads team developing System level Network designs, operational
software, Integration Labs, and payload IOT planning in support of
system realization.
- Works closely with and provides technical guidance to team
members who are performing system level integration and test
activities and ensures that they have the resources needed to meet
task objectives.
- Supports hardware and software design, development, integration
and testing in labs and operational sites for both development and
sustaining systems.
- Supports test design, planning and execution for intersegment
test events that include compatibility tests in factory, at
operational sites and in orbit testing (IOT)
- Responsible for the design and development of hardware and
software system integration labs (SILs) for both space and ground
systems necessitating knowledge in the areas of network/lab
security, lab best practices as well as test equipment maintenance
and calibration.
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical
activities in the area of Systems Engineering.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements
policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides
technical management of suppliers and leads process
improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with
customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches,
products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.Successfully
completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single
Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government
within the last 5 years.This position requires the ability to
obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government
requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top
Secret/SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic--Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience):
- 10+ years' experience in systems engineering, integration and
test
- 5+ years' experience leading teamsPreferred Qualifications
(Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science
related fieldRelocation:This position does offer relocation based
