Job Description:
As the Field Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all
aspects of field operations related to the expansion and
maintenance of our telecom infrastructure. You will play a critical
role in ensuring the successful implementation of our expansion
plans, as well as maintaining the highest standards of service
quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to
develop and implement strategic plans for expanding WeLink's
wireless internet services into new markets.
- Field Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day field
operations, including network deployment, maintenance, and
troubleshooting, to ensure timely and efficient service
delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of field technicians
providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal
performance and productivity.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party
vendors and contractors involved in network deployment and
maintenance, ensuring compliance with company standards and
objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance
processes and standards to ensure the reliability and performance
of our telecom infrastructure and services.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to support
expansion projects and ongoing maintenance activities, optimizing
efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks and challenges
associated with field operations, proactively addressing issues to
minimize service disruptions and customer impact.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and analysis on
field operations performance, including key metrics, trends, and
areas for improvement, to inform decision-making and drive
continuous improvement initiatives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant
regulations, standards, and industry best practices governing
telecom infrastructure deployment and operation.
- Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with other departments,
such as customer service and sales, to address customer inquiries,
resolve issues, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, engineering, or a
related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecom field operations,
with a strong background in telecom/ internet deployment and
maintenance.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively
manage and motivate a team of field technicians.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external
partners, and customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze
complex issues and develop practical solutions.
- Familiarity with telecom industry regulations, standards, and
best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and
adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as
needed.
- Must live in Southern California or preferably Los Angeles
proper.
