Job Description Job Description Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Ambulatory Surgery Center Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced nurses and new graduates seeking to grow in a surgical setting. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to patient safety. The LVN supports physicians, RNs, and anesthesia providers in delivering safe, efficient, high-quality care in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including vital signs, medical history review, and medication reconciliation Verify consents and required pre-op documentation Assist in pre-operative and post-operative areas under RN supervision Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure and report changes in condition promptly Administer medications within scope of practice Start and maintain IV access (must be IV certified) Provide patient education regarding pre- and post-operative instructions Ensure accurate documentation in EMR Maintain sterile technique and assist with room turnover Adhere to infection control, OSHA, and accreditation standards Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia staff, RNs, and surgical techs Qualifications: Current LVN license in good standing (State of CA) IV Therapy Certification required ACLS certification required Current BLS certification New graduates welcome to apply - training provided Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient surgical setting Pay starting at $30/hr depending on experience M-F between the hours of 7am-4pm Must be willing to train in scrub duties Company Description Synovation Medical Group aims to restore function and richness to patients’ lives, giving them control over their pain and reducing their reliance on medications through collaborative, multidisciplinary pain management programs that are unavailable elsewhere.
