Job Description Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our
community-oriented, full-service hospital in Carlsbad, NM. This
role offers a balanced mix of bread-and-butter general surgery and
complex cases, with strong institutional support and modern
technology—including access to a DaVinci robot, with training
available for those who are new to robotics. This is a great
opportunity for both new graduates and experienced surgeons seeking
to build a long-term practice. Position Highlights Full-scope
General Surgery (bread & butter complex cases) 7 on 7 off DaVinci
robot available, robotics training provided Mentorship available
for new graduates 10 days of ER call per month Level III Trauma
Center Hospital-employed position with immediate volume New grads
and experienced surgeons encouraged to apply J-1 visa assistance
