Occupational Therapist Location: Northridge, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,235 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/21/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Occupational Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days, Tuesday - Saturday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: License required Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: - CCC-SLP required for Speech Therapy. - Must have passed NBCOT exam for Occupational Therapy. - EMR experience with Cerner Powerchart is preferred. Description: The position involves providing service in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You may treat varying numbers of patients per day based on the area assigned. Outpatient can have up to 9 patients per day; inpatient can have up to 13 per day. Rehabilitation needs may vary, and additional coverage may be required across different areas. Assistance from rehabilitation aides or assistants will typically be available. Shift requirements may vary; weekends and holidays are not mandatory. The attire includes a maroon polo shirt and dark-colored pants, with closed-toe shoes. A lab coat is optional. Common patient diagnoses include orthopedic, post-surgical, neurological, trauma, and others. Experience with bedside swallow studies and video swallowing studies is preferred in speech therapy. Travel experience and trauma experience are also preferred. Screening will be based on the specific requisition details provided. Candidates with inpatient clinical experience may be considered even if they do not meet the full year of experience requirement. Cancellations can occur for shifts during the assignment duration. The charting system used is Cerner. The care setting is acute. The trauma level is 2. All nurses must provide their licensure for submission.
