Job Description:

SUMMARY Supervises and oversees all aspects of the operations, distribution and warehouse activities of the DME department ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluates patient care needs. Suggests solutions to patient care crisis problems and complaints. Delivering equipment to patients and custom measurement Interacts with internal and external customers in a real time manner to promote quality and excellent customer service Warehouse inventory organization and maintenance Maintain branch inventory of all equipment Prepare documentation for customer set up, shipping and returns Ensure that all returned and/or off-rented equipment is properly documented Track and manage the quality control of all equipment Coordinates purchasing of DME supplies Measure and fit patients for custom DME supplies Provide back-up support to other team members in the office as necessary Assists in the hiring, training/orientation, and performance evaluation of assigned staff Ensures compliance with all related federal, state and local regulatory requirements Works with Manager and Director to recommend, develop and implement department policies and procedures Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 2-5 years of DME experience Minimum of 1-year experience in Management Brightree experience preferred Understanding of healthcare delivery system and demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology Knowledge of Health Plan compliance and Federal regulations and standards Excellent oral and writing skills characterized by the ability to communicate effectively with varying audiences Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-pace environment Strong organizing and planning skill Proficiency in electronic calendaring Proven PC skills Excel, Word, Access, Outlook Ability to type a minimum of 60 wpm May be required to work overtime to meet tight deadlines Highly motivated and able to work with multiple teams simultaneously.
