Job Description:

LHH is partnering with a bank in Monterey Park to hire a Operations Officer.
Position OverviewThe Operations officer will oversee the central operations department and staff in managing the banks back office functions.Major Responsibilities

  • Monitor Debit Card Reports through Fiserv Client Central. Debit Card Maintenance as needed
  • Reconcilement of the Banks Statement of Condition. Follow-up as needed
  • Review Reports through Precision Bank Director
  • GL Auto Balance Journal (Follow-Up as Needed)
  • GL Auto DDA Reconcile Journal (Follow-Up as Needed)
  • Parameter Maintenance Journal (Follow-Up as Needed)
  • Loan Change ADJ Rates Journal (Process Report as Needed)
  • Monitor the Suspect Duplicate Item Report
  • Return Item Preparation
  • Review and Approve Reports and Input Processed by Clerical Staff
  • Print Bank Notices
  • Pull and File Paid Expense Checks
  • Reconcilement of the Bank Issued Debit Cards
  • Department Certifications
  • Privacy Act Mailings
  • Escheat Reporting and Remittance
  • EFT Disputes
  • Various Manual Check Returns through FRB
  • Process Incoming Check Adjustments
  • Process SSI Asset Verifications Requests
  • Maintain and Control the Banks Supply Inventory (Order as Needed)
  • Monitor the Possible Compromised Card Listing from Visa
  • Coordinate and Log any Bank Directors Training / Seminars
  • Assist the Banks VP Controller with any Issues as Directed
  • Supervise / Direct / Train Clerical Staff Member
  • Assist Branch Personnel with Operational Issues
  • Various Duties and Projects as Assigned
  • Cash Orders / Shipments through FRB
  • NSF / Non-Post Processing
  • Incoming Return Items Processing
  • Reconciliation of ATM Settlement
  • Monitor the Teller Cash In and Cash Out Report (Daily)
  • Monitor Cash Activity Reports through Global Vision (Daily)
  • Log Expectant CTR's on the CTR Log (Daily)
  • FinCen Section 314(a) Monitoring and Processing through Global Vision (Bi-Monthly)
  • Submit SAR Monitoring Report to the Finance Department for Inclusion in the Monthly Board Meeting Package (Monthly)
  • Comply with all BSA training and procedures.
    Position Requirements - Qualifications
    • 2 or more years of experience in the banking industry
    • effective communication skills
    • ability to work in office
    • Associates degree or equivalent

      Benefits and Compensation:
      • base salary of $85,000-$95,000 depending on expierence
      • opportunity for additional compensation through bonus structure
